@BuSHidoZZe no they dont eat people, but it doesn't mean they cant kill you. they have no intrest in eating something bigger than their mouth, but they weigh hundreds of pounds and can jump out of the water at 10 to 15 mph, they also have a very hard head so they can crush your ribs when they hit

@antdaweeze13 my african bullfrog cant even fit in a 5 gallon aquarium, and he's the size of my two hands together. that big ass arapaima is about 4 to 6 ft long and will get to 18ft and nearly 1000lbs
-
@n166ahygu he'll be about 12 times that size in a few years, so good luck with that. it'll probably be 5 feet long and over 100lbs, you'll have to feed it jumbo goldfish or koi

@zusca100 indeed it is, the live in the same waters together, so it's not a big problem. they naturally avoid eachother because neither one can eat the other. at least there arent any paraiba in there, those things eat big meals, including other catfish

I eat them for breakfast.

wow
So did I. That's why the camera shakes! I was standing on a ledge about 20cm wide and nearly fell in the pond as a result. You can't hear it on the film, but there's a loud crack as it sucks in the pellets, which really makes you jump when you're not expecting it. For some reason I was expecting them to take the food quite gently.
