What they sound like when they scream, as some people seldom hear it. But she doesnt like it when the wind comes and starts to scream.

  • Hahahaha, mine does this at like 7 in the morning.

  • @Imnikole hahaha oh birds. I hear macaws and amazons near my barn every dawn and dusk screaming away! Luckily this one screams when she thinks she is in danger, or when I come home from college. At least they are nice screamers though.

  • That's a pretty sound! I would barely call that "screaming," lol.

  • @sdraper2011 hahaha I guess I have been blessed with a shrilly bird and not a screaming bird.. but none the less, its not my favorite sound from her :P

  • Wow, that's actually a pretty trill of a scream. It could just be the sound quality of the video, but I gotta say, although my Quinn (a BH Pi) generally likes to squeak in a quiet, ramble of a voice, he has this really, really loud and harsh squawk that he puts into play when he's frustrated and/or angry (as when I have been vacuuming too long or, unfortunately, when my parents visit....)! Yours has a lovely scream, in my humble opinion! :)

  • @susaneharley haha, I figured I would put this up for the ppl interested in a Pionus but never heard them scream (and it actually is that trill)... Sometimes though I think she has a louder one when we dont pay attention to her. I can only imagine how much louder yours is compared to mine! My goodness! Funny yours doesnt like the vacuum, mine thinks its bath time when the vacuum is on! I actually have a video of that!

  • @GreyParrotMedia She is really great, I never really do hear her. But I do feel your pain when it comes to loud screaming... I had a macaw once.

  • That's not too bad compared to what I have to put up with having two Maxi's in the house.

  • @PBuzo Yeah, I think she just gets nervous when it's windy. But she rarely ever screams like that in the house. The only time she does is when it's breeding season, which only, thankfully, happens once or twice a year. And even then she doesnt scream for very long, only when she cant see me. If I leave for a bit I put on some nature sounds of birds and she is totally fine.
