If you want to hear a Bison Bass played at it's best, listen to Kenny Brown of CONSORTIUM play on the albums "REBIRTH" and "13th hour" he has played a Burns Bison all his playing days and is one of the best players in the UK. You will love the albums, trust me.
brilliant work !!!

Such a cool looknig and sounding guitar!
Does sound fairly stratty, what are the differences you notice soundwise?

Hi davo171'
Thanks for your comment, There's quite a big difference between the two. The Burns is very heavy, but has a nice slim neck. The pickup switching is nothing like a Strat, you can split the bass and treble pickups and there are settings called 'Wild Dog!' which gives it a very aggressive sound.
The trem is just amazing once setup properly.
Regards Andy.
