We had several Jim Reeves albums when i was a kid. Just to be silly I would sing them to my Mom. She would laugh. Then when she got cancer I sang to her, but not silly and she loved it. I lost her four months after they discovered cancer. That's been almost 24 years since she died and when I hear these songs I still cry because I still miss her.

I am sorry for your loss, even though it was 24 years ago it still hurts. Time does not heal the pain it just teaches you how to cope with it. I know how you feel, I lost my daughter to cancer 8 years ago and I opened my channel dedicated to her and our mutual love of Jim and his songs. I hope that my videos bring back the "happy" times you had singing Jim's songs to your Mother.
