  • what is the meaning of binabalatan? and nilalagayan? can you please help me out

  • omg, i think my Tagalog is much better than her and i'm half Filipino, what a shame, i came here to learn more and i've got the worst teacher ever.

  • As for her pronunciation of "R" - it's more Americanized than Hispanized in some places. The pronunciation of Tagalog "R" is normally closer to Spanish "R". But that's the trend in Metro Manila nowadays - many people there pronounce the "R" the American way, especially when the "R" is the last part of a syllable - like "LUGAR" ("place") or "ORTIGAS" (an urban center in Pasig City). That pronunciation is also prominent in the words "MERON" ("have") and "PARANG" ("like", "resemble")...

  • As for "Sit down", the more respectful way of saying it is "Maupo po kayo" or even "Maupo po sila", in contrast with "Maupo ka".

  • Correction: "How old are you?" - "Ilang taon ka na?"

  • "How old are you?" - most people would say "Ilang taong ka na?" than "Gaano ka na katanda?", although Gaano ka na katanda?" is the Tagalog translation word-for-word.

  • I treally agree with Dan94519. you are a very beautiful and poised young lady. I would be very happy to take private tutorials from such a nice kind teacher such as yourself!!!!

  • You are a good teacher.. I like the subtitles, very infomative.

  • mag-aral po ako mabuti po sa tagalog to english

  • PWEDE BANG MAKAHINGI NG BASO NG TUBIG?
