As steve has said in the past, upon the breakup of the Brecker bros. band he felt compelled to try to keep them together and continue the great combination of players that were in the group and THIS IS IT! he loved this band and it shows..they played at the Brecker Bros bar called 'seventh avenue south' and were 'hot shit' man, those were the days..we knew we were seeing greatness.
@ottolight ... I don't think Steve would mind your liking "Blue Man" so much. Such an appreciation doesn't dismiss how his music has evolved. I was (and still am) fond of "Tightrope."
I know that Steve does not want to hear such a thing, but to me " The Blue Man " has been his greatest record. Thanks for great old pictures of that band
why am I hear this today for the first time?! thanks!
