@GiovanniCarestini It is probably a common name in Germany. It is the Simone Schneider who sang (wonderfully) in Schweitzer's 'Alceste' (the entire opera is on YouTube, see OedipusTyrannusII's channel).

That was amazing. Does anyone know who the soprano is? She cannot possibly be Simone Schneider who is already in her 60s.

Una regia alla Bergman per una piece da circo equestre. Ottimi costumi e trucco indimenticabile. Scarso l'italiano della compagnia lirica: davanti a un pubblico é sempre meglio capire ciò che si stà cantando.
