Alexei still skates. He is touring with Ice Age in Russia.
This speech was about his retirement of completive skating , it was were hard for him to do. Every time I watch this video I cry.
He is one of the best skaters ever
I just hope he will skate in American again in the near future

He had to have one of his hips replaced (with titanium). It was such a tragic injury.
He was a crowd favourite in Canada! We loved him so much!

I hope he can skate again in the futureas well as he ever did or beyond that. Does anyone know how he is doing after his hip surgery?
I hope if it is his wish he continues on.

I watch him skating and I wanna become a better person,more dedicated and sincere,so strong is the message he transmits to me.I liked figure skating but with him I started to love this sport,in my mind he never stoped skating and fore sure he is unique.Great skater,artist and man!
