Here are the results for the next morning taking out the Bantu Knots and the Twists... My inspiration was "Joan" hair..lol.. Tracy Ellis Ross from "Girlfriends".. Lets see if I came close.. :-)

Hi Taren. I have a quick question. I wear these China Bumps aka Bantu Knots quite often as a style (like my picture). I cut my hair off and left like an inch or so and have grown it out for a year. It's a great length but not as long as yours.
1. Any tips on how I can maintain a grow my hair out longer, any products for protecting the hair??
2. What can I do to style my hair and get it big where it at least looks longer??

This is gorgeous! I wish it would work on my hair...I tried it but the curls were so tight they just sprung back to my head lol I think I need some more length.
