  • Ultrasound can not detect colors, diagnostic ultrasound represents in grays the echoes that soft tissue produce when a mechanical wave(sound or ultrasound) moves through, color is light, an electromagnetic wave.

Yes, it is possible to make a 3-d ultrasound of an organ.

  • Ohh, yeahh, I forgot to change, but is too late, Thanks you.

  • If the liver appears in black, why does a baby ultrasound appear in gray? And can't we do a 3-D ultrasound of an organ?

  • its really hard to understand your english ..............

  • i have recently got an ultrasound done for the liver. can you please read my report if i can scan and send it to you on email

  • how much accurate is an ultrasound report in regards to finding the extent of fatty infiltration of liver

  • thank You very muuuuuch!!!

  • At about 4:20 you inadvertently happen to misname the hepatic veins "portal veins". Apart from that it's a good demonstration of basic liver anatomy for ultrasound.
