ondoy day 6: how to drive through floods

6 days since typhoon ondoy (ketsana) hit the philippines

flood waters still not subsiding. another typhoon is coming so we need to move our cars to higher grounds.

here's how we did it...

Uhhh... is that ductape on your car? Doesnt that ruin the paint?

no. it's just masking tape. did not damage paint in any way :)

honda city 2003 and 2009. both saved in this video. they are now on safer, higher grounds :)

I think intake is more important to intstall a tube than an exhaust. If your engine suck some water, water won't compress inside. You can blow under water like an exhaust. My 2 cents...

correct! but our flood water only reaches the exhaust (knee-high). the intake is high enough to be free from flood water :)

I checked the road where I'll be going to. The flood levels won't reach the intake so I did not need to extend it :)
