I cried so hard like I was veda!!! That is one of the best movies - it is inspiring and touching! And also so sad especially when Veda is at Thomas's funeral and is crying for his glasses; and the last part with the poem!

I reckon everyone should see this movie!

@BetoLee100 I too saw it for the first time around 92, at a very young age and although i never cried, as a movie, its always played on my mind even 20 years on, especially Thomas J's death and the scenes where Vada see's his lifeless body inside the casket, just so hard to get it out of your system, without feeling any real emotion.

just proves that you don't have to see explicit sex/nudity and coarse language to appreciate a lovely movie. Vedas poem at the end...reduced me to tears.
