@terrybnd I'm new to Bothies. What do you mean about the bothy code in this context? I hope it's not somewhat secretive and exclusive and i've been breaking these rules

looks like the bothy at conniston which i spent a week repairing the roof and rebuilding the chimny and fire place at 20 years back, is it still dry and are my one peice benches still inside, its at the old slate cave up the railway lines, which i used for roof suports.(if it is conniston)

the scottish bothy association will provide all grids for them, the code is repair and share,

I love this place.....
How did you manage to light the fire without the smoke blowing back inside??.... We stayed there a couple of nights ago and the wind coming though the walls made the fire impossible.
Cant wait to head back there, we'll be camping over by Black Beck Tarn next.
Great video.... We watched this a year ago and were soo jealous, so couldn't believe our luck when we stumbled across it and instantly recognised it from your post.
