#25 - The Place Promised in Our Early Days - Never Be the Same

AMV #25 - 4/4/2009

I actually started this video back in January then started working extra hours and ended up putting it on hold. It didn't quite turn out like I had pictured it in my head back then, but it's okay I guess. I absolutely love this anime and always knew I'd love to do an AMV using it. I didn't use too many effects or what not because, to me, the anime is beautiful to watch so I didn't personally see the need to mess with it much effects wise. I felt the song really fit with the anime with all the talk of memories, promises, and yesterdays. I think I could do a video to ANY song by Red. When I heard the song the first time I instantly thought of this anime.

The sound clip in the credits is taken from one of my favorite scenes in the movie. I just put random flight shots over it. (2:34 is the actual video footage where this scene starts) I love it so much because it's where Hiroki and Saruyi reconnect even though they are in separate universes.

This movie! I loved it it made me cry it was so sad and i espacially love the song in the credits it just brings out the sadenss even more! Btw: I am almost 13 and a boy a little messed up but i absoulutely loved the movie!

wow, this is beautiful man, I've never watched this anime but I've seen it before, this makes me wana watch it. Great job. btw, do u think u can make an AMV about Full Metal Panic? is a beautiful anime and with ur talent I know it would look great. Is 3 seasons but maybe u could just combine the 3 into the AMV, the best season is the 3rd. Well there's an idea so if u want try it, I know I'd like to see it.

wow, im not really into the "romantic" type of AMV, but this is just so good. I am honest with you right now when i say i can't find a flaw. When the beat rises, so did the visuals, and when it was mello, the visuals followed suit. Its so subtle, but it gets its message across, which is what an AMV should be at heart. Nice job! 5/5
