Pound for pound they are the most ferocious predator we have in the UK. I have witnessed one catch and kill a mature rabbit. Beautiful animal but you wouldnt want to find one at the bottom of your sleeping bag. Lucky catch Malc and I.m pleased you let it go. Not much else you can do with it.

I've heard about them , but never seen one.Vicious little thing yeah.In canada we have a weasel called a martin which is a bit bigger and can kill cats and small dogs.
