  • awesome video..where is it from? not which country but how did you manage to find something so old?

  • Thanks. I wish I could take credit, but I saw it on another website. I ripped it and put it up here because it took so long to buffer on the original site. Plus, the other site was in Russian (I think), so this way English speakers can see it too. I have no idea how the other site got a clip so vintage...I can't read Russian. (^_^)

  • Your welcome, gents. Thanks for watching!

  • I am married to a Russian woman, she is one bad ass female for sure. Her brother and father both are SAMBO champs and of course she picked up on some of the techniques. I do Traditional jujutsu, focus on ww2 combat style and she can put the hurt on me. We will be walking hand in hand and out of no where she will thow in a trip or a reap and put me on the ground fast. Damn I love her.

it's russian martial art called sambo - short for self-defense without weapons (abbreviation). it was developed by Russian Imperial Army officers who were fighting against Japanese in the Russo-Japanese war of 1914 - basically, they learned judo, jiu-jitsu, combined it with European practices and created a training system for Russian army
