This ballad I wrote for Estelle, who was an inspiring soul and special friend to many, including lucky me. I met her in a jazz workshop and we shared the love for singing, so every situation usually started a lyric and song from the Great American Songbook. She died too soon from cancer..Today January 27th, would have been her 75th birthday. Forever..Estelle.

If we would have a second chance at life with all anew

I'd wish to have the same old friends
and bear my children once again,
the next one I would name her after you

Always rubato but never too long
And even when your voice is weak
The words you speak are strong
