Astral Ships in NA Closed Beta: A Magnificent Journey

I was able to set sail in an Astral Ship for the very first time today on the last day of closed beta here in NA. We were all a bunch of noobs and had no clue what we were doing, but the epic feeling of crewing a ship with 6 people -- real people working together -- was unmistakably unique and just as amazing as you could ever imagine.

Who would have thought that a free to play game, out of all the games that could have possibly done this, would be the first to truly accomplish what so many have sought after for years? Allods Online continues to surprise and amaze me.

Astral Ship travel looks just like the video. You have to fully control the ship with 6 other people (or more in bigger ships) and navigate like you would a crew sailing a ship. You can go up down left right back forward.

@JHRMS The patch in 8 day's will make it F2P again ! So if you like allods before you should maybe pay a visit ! Maybe even just to say hello ! New lvl cap and no need of incense as it will not give damage boost ( reason for most of allods population leaving )

I really hope this game does this well. If they do, it will put this game on the map. Its the Star Trek MMO that should have been. Not all of us wants to be Captain Kirk or Picard. Some of us wanted to be Data, Spock or Scotty.

Heck if I ever reach this point I wanna be in Engineering just for the opportunity to yell "I'M GIVING HER ALL SH' GOT CAP'N! SHE CANNA TAKE N' MORE!"

@jacobgovan U can fly it at any lvl i think... but constructing one is harder:

First quest for construction: lvl 35 (recommend 38, way to hard for lvl 35 and u need a bunch of ppl). U also need 1500gold...

oh and constructing takes 100 real days.. (unless u do 2 daily quests every day, this makes it bout 33 days)

@jacobgovan Yes, to construct one, u'll need a quest (lvl 35). But kinda hard 2 do as lvl 35.. so i'd recommend lvl 38. Oh and u need 1500 gold...
