This is not a review, it's just some guy unpacking it and testing it. Not helpful at all.

This is NOT a review. This is an idiot's guide to unpack a flash.
Where can I find instructions on how to use the slave feature of this unit? However I try it doesn't seem to work.

@BoardshortsMedia go to the speedlights website and the review article of the flash, you will find much more info there

you can use the flash in the camera hot shoe, but it doesn't provide automatic exposure control. go to the website to read the review and learn about the options, and alternatives with auto (=TTL) mode.

I noticed 7 beacons, when describing the power used, is it 1/7th etc or what?
MIkeness101 1 year ago
@MIkeness101 it's 7 different output levels: 1/1 - 1/2 - 1/4 - 1/8 etc down to 1/64 min

how do you make this flash work with canon 550d (t2i,kiss)
i do not know how to configure it with my camera menu system
thanks!

@enwordsand this is a simple manual-mode flash. It does not talk with your camera. The only command it can understand is "fire". To use it in the camera hot shoe switch it to mode "M", pick the correct manual output level using the "plus/minus" button on the flash, and then fire with shutter speeds of 1/200 or longer. Try which camera modes it will work in. Mode "Tv" or "Av" and "M" should work.
