The Aramaic Language of the Maronites is still reserved in Cypros by maronites who migrated from lebanon during the resistance agianst the Arab muslim invasions on lebanon, from the 7th century till the 13 century, but the war still continuing against aribizing and islamizing lebanon
there are 2 villages in Syria that still speak Aramaic. both Muslims and Christians do. one of those Villages is Called Maloula.

Thank you for your effort. Aramaic is endangered around the world. As villagers you have to get in touch with other Aramaic communities & build school for the young kids & whomever requests Aramaic course can get it from there.
