Locke And Key Official Trailer 2011

Locke & Key is sadly still not coming to TV, as FOX passed on picking the pilot up as a series this May and some talk about potentially shopping it to various cable networks didn't seem to pan out. However, a trailer for the series, culled from footage from the pilot episode, has now appeared online.

Locke & Key tells the story of Nina Locke and her three children, Tyler, Kinsey, and Bode, who survive an unspeakable horror and attempt to rebuild their lives at Keyhouse, their family home in Lovecraft, Massachusetts. It is a mysterious New England mansion, with fantastic and transformative keys hidden inside its walls that are also being sought by a hate-filled and relentless creature with ties to the Locke family's past who will stop at nothing to accomplish his sinister goals.

Oh.. the comic books are amazing. This is the most compelling series I have read since The Sandman. And, if you know anything about comic books, you know that this is extremely high praise. It's too bad that no channel has picked this up. I'd love to see it.

there is no way they should turn his ito anothhr teen-centric tv show.  This looks absolutely horrible. If anything I could see this wonderful comic turned into maybe 3 films but certainly not this garbage

Joe Hill.... who is actually Joe King, who is the son of stephen king... but he's actually better than his father, and over time as his library of written books increases people will begin to see that. I am SO ANGRY that this show was vanished. I hope if they don't whip this out later, that someone else will use it to make a new show, because the material is very very good. The graphic novels and/or trades are amazing! anyhoo... that's my 2 cents.

its clear why they didn't pass it the trailer shows they just couldn't capture the essence of the prolific comic, which is a shame cause a good series for this would have been like the walking deads tv show for its epicness.

omg i love these comics, i didn't know they were going to make a show out of them! i can't believe fox passed on it, it would've been awesome

even though i dont really like the kid they cast as bode, bode seemed more mature in the books

I love the comics, but not this trailer. At all. Dodge was just ridiculous. The mother was completely off, she's supposed to be a mess in the comics, but in here she's just the standard middle-age mother, no wounds at all from her ordeal. And it didn't have anything close to the great atmosphere of the comics. Here's hoping it was just a poorly made trailer and doesn't reflect the rest of the series...

OK, I understand it's hard to find a house that looks lake the Keyhouse, but finding an actresses that match Nina and Kinsey? Damn, Kinsey was ma favorite character and here she doesn't look like her, it sucks. Lets hope another station will make this production happen and change the actors that do not fit in.
