really now.... slc is not for me either, it's a scary place full of white people with very different thoughts about life, love and being a 'true' neighbor. I saw a comedy show and she said she was doing a gig for gay pride in slc. After, her joke was about "don't they know they can leave". Maybe rahneejr saw the same show, it's true, you can leave, it's a big world out here and full of people being themselves, doin there thang all outside of a dangerous bubble full of hate and judgement.

rahneerjr - We love it here. It's the best place to live. We don't live in fear, except fear of scum finding out how great it is to live here and coming in droves. Which has started ... we wish they'd all stay away and leave it the nice place it is.

Do you in the SLC LGBT community realize that you can leave that place. You can live somewhere you can live out of fear, those looks and just the general taste of the 50's... Good luck on finding a new place to call home, one that welcomes you vs. laughing at you behind your back or right in your face in a lot of cases. GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN!!!
