Rugby is no more of a contact sport then american football. The fact that the players wear pads isn't because they are afraid of contact, but the force of the contact they would kill eachother. It's happened in the past.

@Mortskcab There is a whole football (or soccer so that you can understand) league in the USA, granted they're all shit and just buy 35 year old european rejects, but still, if you get a soccer league that pays big money and takes away our players, then we should be perfectly entitled to an NFL team, despite the fact that 95% of english people would rather watch Rugby, a real contact sport.

To the person below me - Mortskcab -....I don't even think they will be able to do the whole NFL thing in Europe...but I do believe its fair to have yearly International series in London or any other city in Europe. The NFL obviously does this to earn more money and exposure..and I believe that it is fine for them to do that. Its a great experience to be able to see a sport like A.Football overseas. I'd love to come to the UK and see a game one day!

London is an awesome town but still does not deserve an NFL team. Many people here in states are offended even at the suggesstion on a team being moved to outside of the us. (remember toronto failing to get the buffalo bills) look london how would you like it if we took one of your primer soccer teams and moved them to the usa? i know a stupid idea, so is nfl in europe.
