If my boys were five and our school didnt call me and called the cops if they got out of hand I would flip out and our school would be seeing a very rare kind of psycho come out of me. I am their mother and calling ME should be ur first step cuz i guarantee that I CAN and WILL get my child under control and if that also means taking my child home for the day so be it but there is never a need for the cops, thats bullshit! The Police Department Deserves everything they get outta this one.

@Ma007rk Partially true however for crying out loud this child is only 5 years old.. What happen to notifying the parents, I guess this only proves our children really do not belong to us but to the government...

Wow just wow, This is just stupid!!! When a child has a tantrum you call the parents and have them pick her up you don't call the police. This girl was probably scared as hell. I hope the teacher gets arrested shortly after!!!!

Ok I can understand calling the police, but placing cuffs on a 5 year old is a little over the top. The blame for this lies with everyone involved. The school should have had a parent come and control the child, not the police. The parents need to do a better job at disciplining the child and the police need to realize that this is a 5 year old who may weigh all of 50 lbs. In all this is a society fail!
