@SHlROl I think an article about this came out before but it wasn't JYP himself who rejected IU (and maybe Hyorin too but I'm not 100% sure). It's physically impossible for him to attend every single audition, and he joked that he'd fire the person who cut IU from the JYP audition.

when she talked in the beginning I was like "Can she sing? Seems like a very severe sorethroat."
When she sings + hit high notes "AMAziNG!!! Rusty and husky when talking but smooth when singing is the best voice anyone can own!!!"

@Ba0ii1 she auditioned for JYP and was a trainee there.... eventually she switched to Starship and JYP probably said yes.... so yah...... you'll need consent from ur company to switch right?

Sometimes it hurts to hear her talk, with her voice so rusty that it's kinda scary... but when she sings it's a whole different story. :)
And of course JYP is regretting badly! He let go of people like Hyorin, IU, etc. :P
