As for the pentagram, what you fail to mention is that a few of those lines actually go through houses so if there really was some grand plan to create a symbol there surely they'd have taken care of that detail. As for the church of satan bit, tacking on something unrelated to freemasonry to try and smear it is rather a low tactic don't you think?

Your first Manly P. Hall quote is taken out of context, in the full paragraph actually implies how improper use of "energies" may make the unwary mason a tool for satan. Would you care to present your evidence that Eliphas was a mason, there appears to be none that I can see.

@mariusdire Probably why they didn't want to talk on the subject of satanism is because they're tired of being asked the same questions time and time again when the answers are already known and widely available. Now onto something more interesting Morals and Dogma, an interesting book, but as the preface says they are Pike's views only, and only relevant to his version of the rituals of the Scottish rite, the northern jurisdiction didn't use them so Pike is almost irrelevant there.

The quote that comes up right at the start and gets presented as a quote by Pike was written by Leo Taxil as part of his hoax as is the second quote, this is well known and verified when he admitted it back in 1897. Second, the name Lucifer is not the name of satan, in Revelations the morning star is referenced by its hebrew name, when it got translated into latin, they used the latin name lightbringer or lux (light) ifer (bringer).
