  • OMG how did you make the ground look so 3d? Hmm... kinda hard to tell you what I mean, but it's something that's almost impossible to do on Vegas @_@

  • @iHitLowest You can kind of make 3D models out of flat 2D images in After Effects. I made the grass in Photoshop then imported it, set the layer to 3D so it can be manipulated on an X, Y and Z axis then rotated it so it's a right angle from the sky and other background elements. There are loads of great 3D after effects tutorial videos that helped me make this :)

  • Too much brass and woodwinds on the soundtrack. Should have stuck to acoustic guitar.

  • @TheMcCart Thanks but I'm an animator, not a musician. The music is by Kevin Macleod and he kindly allows people to use his royalty free music free of charge. I need royalty free sound tracks so I can have my work screened at festivals. Clients commission me for my animation skills...if they need sound, they will source someone else for the sound track.

  • cool, how do you do all that 3-d looking stuff on after effects?

  • @JDEggo Thanks. Enable 3D layers, and add cameras to the composition. 3D objects work on a Z axis instead of just X and Y.
