Wow, I love your voice how long did it take to get use to the voice change? I have been in advanced choir for 12 years and took two years of proffesional voice lessons. I am FTM and I am having surgery day after tomorrow and my voice is cracking so bad right now because of the testosterone any suggestions to help even out my voice?

@lilkittychan Yeah totally.. just keep singing. Don't stop. Your range will change a bit, but you can get some of it back if you really work at it, or even just expand your new lower range.. the lead singer of one of my favorite bands gave me some advice.. he said get the book & CD set "Sing like the stars" by Roger Love.. he said he couldn't sing very well at all before he used the warm-up CD.. but now he's amazing at it.. I did get it, and it helps a lot! So I'd recommend you do that.

@xTwoOfHeartsx Thanks, singing is pretty much my life I love to sing and as for the range changing ya i know its a bitch i used to be a first soprano and now im like a tenor close to a bass when i sing so it is a big change. I will deffinatly look into that book and CD set thank you for the suggestion and thank you for taking the time to answer my question :)
