  • @Pixrandall. I saw myself at the Reading festival watching The Pogues original lineup, followed by New Model Army. Craziest, most murderous gig I ever went to.

Youtube is just fantastic, and thanks to everyone who posts this kind of thing on the site.

  • Can't believe the wonders of youtube - only just discovering - and can't believe you have this - I was at this - I think I went to practically all of his London gigs. You can hear me laughing on the vinyl of this at the Little Boy that Santa Clause Forgot. I went up to Billy's shop in Scotland as a teen to meet him - he wasn't there of course, but his little brother was! I eventually got to meet him outside Radio One - I still find it very hard to listen to him..... miss him .....

  • Yeah. That's true...

And enough to make toast for breakfast, huh!

  • We need at least enough electricity to be able to enjoy this song. ;-)

  • Piano. Cello. Violin. Beautiful Voice.

Strange, how easy it is to forget that such perfect music can exist within this simplicity.

    Let's turn the electricity off.

    We don't need it.

  • Nam Myoho Renge Kyo - Rest in Peace Sweet Billy.

  • once again a fantastic performance by a massively underrated and misunderstood singer.I have been looking for these performances for years. Thanks for posting.Does anyone know where the stv documentary has gone? I never got a chance to watch it.

  • Thank you for posting this. Gosh, I'm a huge fan and ever so grateful to view and hear this huge talent.
