Change Me: Chapter 7

Logan bit the inside of his gums. "I swear I didn't kill her"

"Then why did you come late? Why were your hands so pale? They were almost white" I asked.

"None of your business" he whispered, his blue eyes looking into mine.

I felt his hands loosen in my waist and I pushed him backwards, running out of the janitor's closet. I ran down the hallway, hearing Logan's calls from behind me. "Selena! No!"

"Logan did ki-" then I was grabbed by my waist but not by Logan. Someone grabbed me and put his hand over my mouth. His hands touched my stomach, my shirt lifting up. My screams were muffled and I saw Logan running out.

"Let go of her!"

The person gave him a look and I was thrown onto the ground. I ducked my head under my arms, wondering what's happening. I heard grunting and I looked up. Logan was fighting the man.

The man was wearing a black cape with a hood over his head. Then Logan leaned over and bit his neck. The man dropped to the ground, clutching his neck. He dissolved into the ground. Logan was breathing heavily and I was totally freaked out.

I stood up. "What? D-did he kill her?"

"Yes" he whispered, pulling me behind a trash can. "I'll explain later. Long story short; I'm a vampire. That's why I bit his neck, he's a hunter"

"What?!" I yelled. "There's no such thing as vampires"

"Selena, I came here because I need to protect you" he whispered.

"Protect me? From what?" I asked.

Logan pulled me down because students were walking past the front of the trash can. My mouth was covered my his hand. Then the students walked away, completely oblivious.

"I need to protect you because the man that was after you was a Hunter. He's following the demons"

"But you're a vampire" I said.

Logan shook his head. "Yes, but let's just say I'm God's vampire angel. I only kill to protect. Like I did that man"

"But still what does this have to do with me?" I asked.

"God wants you like me, like other vampire angels. Please, come with me" Logan whispered.

I leaned forward and hugged him. His arms wrapped around my waist and my face dug into his chest.

"Thanks for saving me, Logan vampire angel" I laughed, pulling away. "And yes, I will come with you"

He grinned and we ran off. I was on his back and he was running really fast. I was clutching on his neck for dear life. His hands were under my legs, keeping me settled on his back.

-This story is only ten chapters long! Let's just say it's ten-shot. Haha, I hoped you enjoy this chapter-
