Hey man can you upgrade 1.8 GHz AMD Phenom II P820 triple-core processor to amd II x4 to 3.2 ghz? please reply...
-
its not playable

Make sure all the drivers are up to date , and don't expect too much from single GPU , even if its a GTX 460.
I've seen benchmarks where people had SLI/CROSSFIRE and still decent FPS.. GTA IV is a heavy game (on highest settings).

Hey I was wondering if you could help me with a problem? I'm having and AMD Phenom II X4 560 Black Edition 3,3 GHz, Gigabyte Geforce GTX 460 1 GB, 4 GB RAM, and Windows 7 64-bit - but my GTA IV Gameplay still lags at some points, for an example: When I turn around and stuffs? I'm not even having highest graphics on, it happens from time to time... Help?

is it true that even if you get good FPS in the gta 4 benchmark doesnt mean it will be good in the real gameplay?
-
@YouAreGutted go to the Graphics menu and the lowest option is benchmark
tell me , you have a good processor and a good card , you max it out , amazing FPS . Do you think it would be maxable out with 810 and hd 4850 (1gbram) ?

so many tell me the x4 810 allows gta IV to be maxed and playable right ? Just needs a good card , pl;ease tell me if x4 is good to max gta IV , goes well from your experience right ?

X4 = Quad Core is atm not the best cpu but it's future proof. Since GTA 4 support multi-cores I'd you go a Quad Core. Other games may have a little lower fps because the maybe dont support Multi-Cores
