I see what you mean now. Really using the hand as a "rope guide". These do sound very good and I have never rung on them. Go quite close to them each week on the way to Truro. Would like to get a quarter peal on them.

@kernowoggie yes that would be nice. these are a good peal of eight, little bit lumpy but for a 22 cwt eight it would be lol but no very nice and pleasent.
