this song hits home for me cause some of my best friends are homeless and have their parents have no money to get them anything and i always do the best i can to help i give them my old jackets and toys i love them very much and people need to help the homeless more then just walk by and think badly of them most of the time its not their fault they are that way

i was one of those homeless kids at christmas and it used to really make me cry when i saw all the toys in the windows of the stores and i knew santa didnt bring homeless kids toys......

Now when I see that, I stop off at the local McDonald's or whats available and grab some hot coffee for the parents, some warm cocoa for the kids, and something warm to eat.

It's amazing how we see so few commercials about the homeless kids these days. I know last year alone I counted several families I saw sleeping in bus stops, under the railroad underpasses, and such. I don't know how many times I've seen people just walk right by, not thinking much about them. It's hard for me to even think about it as my wife and I were in that position for a few months in the past.

my friend sang this song for a Christmas concert last week... i could tell that everybody who heard the song was touched in their heart.... i almost started crying. he has such a beautiful voice, and he sang the song perfectly... when he was done everybody cheered for him... not only because he was good, because he had the courage to stand in front of a crowd and sing a song like this... everybody else was singing Christmas "jingles", but he was singing a song with a very strong meaning. <3 :')
