Cauterizing Flame (Priest T12) spell effect

GOOD FIRE TO STAND IN

By request; the Tier 12 4-piece healing priest spell effect, Cauterizing Flame. Cauterizing Flame currently makes up about 8% of my healing on any given fight.

Its healing is tracked as pet, so make sure to enable the necessary options in your damage meters.

the question i have is: why do priest heals have to be so out of line with the other classes? Either its something the player has to do themselves (lightwell) or something the player is trained not to do (stand in the fire)

@squirreludecker Again, you don't have to stand in it. It's got a 20 yard range. =P

as a ret paladin who's spent years forcing myself to move from fire on reflex, this is going to be a very strange sensation to have to move INTO it instead of away from it. Looks super dangerous too.

looks kinda silly.... not impressed with anything in cata as og yet... maybe 4.3 will have some changes... but all in all this expo has been sorta a downer imo....

@BubbyFury People that want to hate on something will always do so without needing reason. As far as raid content goes, this tier is very well designed and balanced (h Rag excepted). There's nothing "silly" about the priest 4 piece, nor does it have anything else to do with the rest of the expansion.

I mean, if you're going to complain, at least make it relevant.

@Holmesy87 Uh, no. 4pc is basically completely amazing and a huge buff to any priest's healing. 6-10% passive healing boost? Yeah, you'd have to be kinda silly not to go for that.

So that's what that thing is. I've been bouncing on it. Tanking around it. poking it. Wondering wtf is that thing, for the past few days. Suppose it makes sense it showed up when our priest got back from 2 weeks break.
