JMU EAST CAMPUS LIBRARY RAVE

12/6/09 - JMU decides to have a flash rave in East Campus Library during the beginning of finals week. There was crowd surfing, techno, glowsticks, people jumping off balconies and going down poles, and 1000 more people stuck outside by the 25 cops.... hahah wtf. Most random thing to happen at my 4 years at JMU.

actually jmu has a lot of community involvement organizations, and a lot of students are employed in the area.

and yeah, when its winter break, and youve been at college for a couple months, its time to go home for a little bit.

The reason they did this before finals is because once they're done with their exams on Wednesday, no one sticks around. The girls all run home to their high school sweethearts. Still a suitcase college. Little contact with the local community other than McDonalds and Wal-Mart.
