When purchasing a Fancy Goldsfish or most type, remember that the tank needs to be Cycled(running) for at least 72 hours, that means Filter, Air Pump, and lights. It important that the water gets treated with Conditioner before placing it in the Tank. You should start of with only 1 fish when first starting, that way it speeds the cyclying but also reduces the chance of the fish being sick and infecting others.
You typically only should place 1 fish for every 10gallons, but no more that 2 should be just fine, goldfish need lots of space and hiding spaces are nice too.
I hope these tips have helped you.....:) His name is Charlie...please feel free to leave comments:)

  • Thank you all for the wonderful comments:)

  • thats one bad ass aquarium well however you spell it anyway coooolieo

  • @idontknowwhatitis36 haha Thank you very muchXD

  • Charlies not a very good swimmer :(

I reccomend that you get a tank that is bigger but much longer than tall. He would be able to swim to the surface easier.

  • i'm looking into a 20-30 gallon tank by the end of January...hes gotten much bigger that the video...its been 10months by now (12/09)...Thanks every1 for the comments:)...will deff post a quick video once i get his new Tank;

  • those all plastic plants?

i hear that its better to have real one because they give off OXygen

  • yeah they do eat them BUT the water will get twice as dirty as with fake plants looks prettier and not as messy:p...i personally do a water change twice a month since hes only 1 goldfish

  • when you get an upgrade, can i have your old tank? lol

  • that is cool!

  • This video made me Awhh that fish is soooooo cute!! and 10 gallons is perfectly fine for that goldfish, but did you not hear the man, he said 'I definitely plan on upgrading'.

  • Your tank is too small for goldfish. Do some research. it needs to be twice the size at the very least

  • Beautiful tank ! Kisses for Charlie. xxxxxxxxxx

  • Oh my god I love your fish tank. It looks beautiful. I had the same goldfish and two days after I got him my water was instantly cloudy. I found out that the goldfish are dirty fish. So be prepared to clean the tank and change the water a lot. Personally, I would suggest getting rid of that fish and getting neon tetras, guppies, some kind of shark, or something along those lines. Your tank not only will be cleaner but it also would be healthier. But loved the fish tank to pieces(:

  • Can someone answer my question my video? (watch please)

    it's about Betta fish

  • That is one cute goldfish. :)

  • my goldfish died today :(
