this track is a byrds' single, now as a bonus track on "Turn! Turn! Turn!", of 1965 and it sounds as a mix of beat and folk rock with the classic byrds' guitar sound!

  • He played it at the concert in Delft as well (oct 20 2011)

  • @vangelovan : Superb, indeed. It is the melody of J. S. Bach's "Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring". This was always one of my favorite Byrds tracks.

  • Guitar break in the middle - too short, but superb. Brilliant track.

  • One of my ALLTIME faves of the Byrds! : ) Yes...should have been an A-side single! This always reminds me of the beginning of being in love with a girlfriend(the euphoria of love beginning)...

  • My first legal high, at 15 or so. Eight miles high without mushrooms, even. I haven't heard it since. What a trip!

  • @SuperNevile if you like that folk rock bach influence listen to: too many miles by the searchers and sister isabelle by del shannon
