I was getting bored with my hair color and wanted to experiment. This is the only level 1 color I found marketed towards black hair. This product did not change my hair color but instead offered a tint. It lasts 6-8 shampoos.

The color I used was #393 Spiced Auburn

  • If you wanted a reddish hue/tint, I think you should experiment with henna :)

  • @iloverette I'm not interested in permanent color right now, nor a looser curl pattern... but thanks for the comment

  • I once used Black and Lovely Hair color and it colored my hair good,BUT it also made some of my hair turn GRAY!!!And I'm ONLY 22!!!! Have anybody heard anything like this!?

  • @HolyGhostMovements I've personally never heard of anything like that happening. What I can say is that you probably want to get your hair colored professionally or definitely do a test strip to view the results before you color your entire head.

  • @HolyGhostMovements On another note, I have heard of women as young as 22 (and sometimes younger) getting gray hairs. It really just depends on if women go gray early in your family.

  • i love your skin! What do you use on your face?

  • @WhoaItsSummy Thank you. I use "No Zit Sherlock" by Bliss. You can get it from Sephora.
