Your fear of life must be fueled by your lack of common sense.

  • I've done that in a Cessna 172, even that's kinda scary

  • Nice if a bird flew in the window at 150 mph. Dopes.

  • Capt clearing out the smoke from the cockpit after takin a few hits during taxiing.

  • Seeing as the 737 is painted in Boeing livery, it would be pretty safe to assume that this was a test flight of some kind, and opening the cockpit window mid takeoff was a component of said test flight. Possibly to simulate a cockpit window failure during takeoff.

  • IT's all about the Marijuana BAYBE

  • someone cut the cheese in the cocpit

  • I guess airconditioning what not working?

  • The test pilot flying maybe intentionally left the window unlatched to surprise the test co-pilot handling the check lists (prolly training) to see what his knee jerk reaction would be. From the ensuing gestures given by the Captain one has to assume the test co-pilot, anticipating an emergency circle to land, wanted to leave the gear down from the departure climb-out checklist. #abnormal behavior

  • The pilot closed his window because he was arriving at Newark Airport.
