  • @dmzusa, one more thing. Don't bother to respond, I blocked you. And thanks for adding your insult to all skiers in Europe, California and specifically Squaw. Why don't you contact a few of your friends at Squaw, have them look at the video, and see what they think? If they're concerned, have them get in touch. They can find me on the passholder roster or ask Dee Dee on mighty mites to find me. Both my kids are in the race program.

Geez, you should really move to the beach. It's safer there.

  • @dmzusa, you clearly have no sense of what you're watching on this video. I've skied through the area you are referring to (from 3:06 on the video, to roughly 3:42 where, on busy days, patrol will issue visual warnings to skiers going too fast, to 4:16 where the run flattens) and I can assure you Lynn's skiing would not even raise an eyebrow with ski patrol. Lynn begins turning to check her speed and she gives other skiers a wide berth. I doubt she exceeded 15 mph through the area in question.

  • hello scottalucas.

I came across your video a few months ago. It is my favorite skiing video on Youtube.

Every few weeks, if I am feeling a bit stressed, I know I can spend 6.35 minutes with you on your mellow "Squaw Valley Ski Run".

Your companion skis with a lovely fluidity.

I hope you guys are still hanging out. Thanks to both of you.

  • Wow, thanks, it's wonderful to know you've enjoyed the video so much! That's Lynn in the picture - and we still ski as often as we can. She says hi!

  • What kind of cam, and how did you set it up and mount it?

  • It's a VioSport helmet cam mounted on my helmet. The helmet cam connects to a video cam that's in a pack. The video cam has to be able to take a video input signal (acting like a VCR). I bought a new camera recently and discovered it's hard to find cams with inputs and impossible to find cams with the wired remote control input...
