@MrViability You could well be right, Mr V. It's definitely the version I heard played (from their 12 inch), but a session version would be an amazing thing to track down!

@therealchriswheelie It did indeed feature in their first Peel Session, recorded in (November 1983), but it appears that only their 3rd session (from 1985) was released as an EP on Strange Fruit.
How many years of searching lie ahead trying to track this down?.......................
