JoMur200, your comments about a corrupt UN demonstrates you understand very little of the UN. The UN is exactly what the member states make of it. If you want to change it you must make your politicians change it. Do yourself a favour and take some time to look into the subject before you vilify an organisation that does some very great work under very complex conditions, heavily defined mandates with scant resources.

I do not think that you guys should sit and argue about which one of these countries are worst off.. I think that we should try to care about all of them. RAISE AWARENESS. And yes things like media ignoring certain parts is a whole topic of its own. I hate the way that media has gone in the last 30 years or so.

The UN Peace - The UN Peace is its ok for the the goverment to rape and kill but when the civilians fight back then The UN moves and stops the fighting . thats why in my opinion the UN should change or be eradicated The UN as we know it is corrupted and greedy and its to liberal and to capitalist , the UN does nothing to help people .

The issue in Darfur is not getting "trumpeted to the High Heaven", so many people don't even know what Darfur is, let alone care!

I think it has to do with ratings and readership as well. They like to focus on Israel/Palestine because everyone has an opinion, but with regards to Africa, most people don't have an opinion and don't believe it will ever get better.

Currently, Durfur is much better than Iraq. Why nobody care about the Iraqi people?
