When fish die you have to take the blame yourself. Its on you. You have to realize what killed them and LEARN from it. (obviously if some equipment goes out on you, thats different.) So the 125 planted tank is in a stage of chilling. I am not going to rush into anything and I am not going to just make a brash move and buy some fish i might not really want that badly. There are several reasons why I am just gonna chill with this tank the way it its. 1st. I owe my dead angel some respect. I think that the angel fish deserves some time to be mourned over. Much like if i died I would be pissed if my wife remarried a month later. So i will let my planted tank chill for a while. 2. The water quality of the tank. What you are looking at is me for I rip in and do some really massive waterchanges. I can't tell you how important it is to do water changes on your planted tanks (and reef tanks) when you have some fish that die. You need to get your water quality corrected because it was probably off. You also need to do water changes because your dead fish probably left some more ammonia in your tank. AND the 3rd reason I am not going to do anything in my planted tank is because, and most importantly.... I DON'T HAVE A PLAN. Nothing works well without a plan in fishtanks and in life. So I am going to sit back and get a plan together for my planted tank. If you like what you see and want to get more of this fishtank madness. Check out www.fishtanktv.com for live chat an killer help from all the people and www.dustinsfishtanks.com is my blog where i drop as much knowledge as I can. • oxygen all the time. I have an airstone hidden. I am loving all of the comments and suggestions on fish. Discus hide like bitches.... 75 serpae tetras...Still making a PLAN!

  • Guppies. Haven't seen any guppy love. I know its a lame beginner fish kind of deal but I always found them more interesting than say the neon tetras. I'd be a fan of the cichlids as well.

  • @JouninSpriggan I like the guppy idea. not in my main tank though....cichlids...sorry people, no chance. (angels and apistos only)
