I'll Fly Away - with Maria

My friend Maria is 11 years old. She started playing the mountain dulcimer about 6 months ago. Her mom (Michelle) had to work this morning and did not get to see her daughter perform on Mother's Day! Bummer! Maria and Michelle both have BEAUTIFUL soprano voices! I just can't remember how long it's been since we got them to sing a special!

I find myself wanting to explain away all the weird little things I do in this video. I'll just sum it up with: I do a lot of weird little things. My brothers and sisters are used to it. :D

Very sweet! And how nice of you to video this for her mom. If there's one thing I love to see it's a young person playing an instrument and the dulcimer is a fine instrument to learn! From that she will be able to play several or many others, eventually.
