the only time they had the ladder over the people was when they were turning it towards the building, and its not real dangerous if its only above their heads for about 1 min a piece...

we just did this for our city's heritge days last week and it was a big hit. It is nate to see the kids faces light up as we come around the corner and put ot a pretend fire plus it gives us good training.

yes this is a volunteer department ,and as far as raising the ladder over spectators , i dont believe that was the case it was taped off ,i also had the camera zoomed in ,like i said it was a simulated call to show the towns people the equipment that was bought a few years back ,if this was a real fire believe me the department would not have let me or anyone else shot video that close and basically i would not get in the way of firefighter operations ,thats just not me,thanks fireengineme

This was cool you took this Video.A lot of guys down here at Lisbon Fire have check it out and like it a lot-thank you.Hope you get more next Moxie Days.We were told some people though it was a real fire that day, Ha Ha. Take care, Jim

you can count on it ,the more videos the better , actually my computer crashed and i have training pics from when the new engine 1 arrived , but cant find them , leave me an e-mail and ill send a few pics that i do have or i know that i can find thanks jimmy
