New Vlog!

When you watch my vlog, what do you notice? My signing is more English, not really ASL! I went to school for ASL, and graduated with a degree in ASL, but sign in English. So, I want to apologize for my language. Enjoy my video!

Hi! My name is Amanda Jay. This is a new Vlog for you, it's been SUCH a long time! What has happened? I've graduated with my degree in ASL, but I want to go to school now for Business. I'm going to go to UMass (University of Massachusettes). It's a good school. You know my boyfriend Steve? (Shows sign name). We keep breaking up and getting back together because of the military. They are taking him very far away....Probably to Afghanistan. If he goes, we are not going to want to date because it is extremely hard. But when he comes home the following year, we will be together again. Life is pretty much the same, I still live in Steve's condo, but I do go back and forth from here and my Moms house. Steve might also go 'Special Guard'...It's a military word (Finger spells "Special Forces")...If he goes and does that, we can continue dating, it is easier. Anyway, I don't really know what else to say...Life is boring, same thing...Work...It's Summer now, I want to go surf, but....It's a far drive and I won't go alone. I don't want that, it could be bad. I started singing again....I sing at a bowling alley lounge, they have karaoke. It's really fun! My hair is growing! I want it very long, down to my waist!
