tal vez esos cometarios tan malos hacia ella es por que pues en video el sonido no es bueno como los que estuvimos en frente de ella ese día.. es difícil contentar a los músicos en general cada quien tiene gustos diferentes y no por eso ella es mala o fleming es mejor o la peor... es cuestión de gustos :D

I don't know which singer in history was perfect live!! People who only listen to recordings make this type of comment. I can't remember a more compelling Lucia and even at these slower tempi she does a great job. This is a keeper and hopefully she will keep singing the rep that let's her emote without singing heavier.If this singer continues this type of singing she will be part of opera history. How wonderful to have a Non-Chirpy coloratura with a real understanding and preparation. Perfect!!?

How sad that a teacher would give a young singer Casta Diva as a beginning Aria.Has anyone from your teachers group ended up with a better career than Ms. Gutierrez is having??? Many people with limited knowledge have tried to make Ms. Gutierrez sing the wrong repertoire it is so wonderful that whoever has guided her has taken her down the Bel Canto Path. When a singer like Eglise has won competitions and sung so beautifully in so many great theaters for many years I can understand your pain.
