That brasil was a great team. Nevertheless, what would had been dificult matches were made easy by the fact of facing rivals already worn out by exhaustion. Uruguay and italy had survived to live or die matches in extra time a couple of days before facing brasil.

Moncho1234, you're absolutely wrong. You can't blame Brazil for Italy and Uruguay's long and exhausting previous matches. On the contrary, Brazil never needed to play extra time in Mexico'70 simply because they were THE BEST TEAM EVER by far! It's about time for you to heal your wounds and accept the Brazilian superiority when it comes to football.

On my side, I chose to point out important facts that sometimes remain overshadowed by the shumble and mumble, but are very important to explain why things happened as they actually happened.

What are you mumbling about? It seems you can't digest your humiliating defeat against the Brazilians in 1970 despite your usual cheating. Brazil had indisputably the best winning side ever and it weren't Uruguay who could prevent them from winning their 3rd World Cup. I see you´re a man of passionate quackery. Please try to focus just in facts for a while, indulge you for a minute out of your half begotten mumbled wanks. Fact: brasil enjoyed easy games. Fact: hard rivals to come were spitting their guts out while zagalo´s boys napped out past peru. ¿who´s better than who? You´re free to go along with the mob and visit all the common places. On the other hand, as a football fan, I can`t say that there`s no beauty in this sport, no ellegance in the play of great footballers and teams through the years, no drama in the clash between strong teams , ambitions, wills etc.
But unfortunately the truth is that for 99 % of the football fans all this remains in the shadow of : "Yeah, we`re the best, gonna smash`em all, ole-ole-ole!" and others of the kind.
I`m also fed up with the hooliganism, arrogance and sheer stupidity in the game.

Thank you for your understanding, it is exactly what I wanted to express. I share your point that football and sport in general can be elegant, skilful even beautiful, but that's all. To make of it the centre of our lives, like it is intended to be, is damned silly and poor. I also cried and shouted a year ago as Torres scored against Germany and Spain won Euro Champ'ship, but that's all. Spain has not become a better place, Germany is not worse than before.
