  • I checked for kinks...no its a brand

New cable and when I took the slide off...nothing but when the cable is not connected to the grip it feels like it wont be able to make a full turn on the grip. I can post another video if u can't visualize it.

  • 1) The grip has slid up against the bar. Loosen the throttle tube and slide it off the bar a fraction of an inch. Tighten it back up and try it. 2) The cable is pinched somewhere. Most likely where the cable passes by the bar lock on the tripple tree. If the cable is kinked, sometimes you can straighten it out enough to work, otherwise replace it. If you remove the slide from the carb side, the cable should be "free flowing" with no resistance.
