@combineharvestersam It is Mark Damerell who I think now rings at Egham.

He comes from Staines area I think. I remember him from Open days in the 90's as sandal-man!

@combineharvestersam I was wondering that, all weekend. But whoever he was, he had no problems in handling this quite difficult to handle mini ring. The next public grab of these, is 2012 for the Barnoldswick and St Jude's Ringing Roadshow and mini ring weekend. These bells will have thier replacement fittings on by then and all eight in the frame. These were an "extra" for the weekend, but with 8spliced's "wet fart" comments, I'm wishing that we didn't make these available.
